Trouble with pigeons

So I happened to look out the window and saw an elderly man having a bunch of these flying rats follow him and thought it was funny enough to record.

i have pigeons as pets, the first one being a homing pigeon that was badly injured. they actually are very clean little folks, the one feral pigeon that i rescued, had feather mites, but that was easily treatable. i guess i just don’t understand what all the hatred for pigeons is about? they’re extremely smart & affectionate, love to snuggle, take baths, even get blow dried. they’re lovely to have in the house. i would never have discovered this if it weren’t for helping the first boy out.

If you read up on these filthy creatures you would not be so ignorant. You do not have to take my word for it, just read the internet.

The university of Basel in Switzerland identified sixty diseases carried by pigeons that can affect the health of humans. Google it, read it, remember it. Pigeon populations are out of control it is because of such large numbers why diease within the pigeon population is such a problem. I shoot them but i can never kill enough of the filthy things. Wood pigeons devestate crops, i shoot them too.

If i did not know i could easily google the question so stop asking stupid questions. I am very serious about what i say about these filthy things. My child could have died. I have no chance of catching a disease from a parrot as i do not keep them and they do not live and **** on my house. You do not strike me as being very clever.

  10. abalea says:

you have still not answered the question , name the disease, you have more chance of contracting this disease from a parrot than a ferral pigeon, if you have got a parrot at home as a pet that is

  11. garysvids says:

Yes i can name one of the diseases because one of my children had to be treated for such a disease but if you want to really know about these filthy creatures try searching on the net.

  12. abalea says:

i can name you one disease they carry that can affect humans, can you. there are more things that soil our citys and they are on two legs and they are not pigeons

  13. garysvids says:

That’s right. The pigeons were “used” and the pigeon was only flying home. It’s a shame we could not have got them to fly over Germany and **** on Hitlers head. The large numbers of pigeons living in towns and city’s carry serious disease and cause a lot of damage to buildings.

the first and second world wars , pigeons where used to carry messages, on many times they have saved human lives,if you people who have commented on these so called flying rats ,had your life depending on them , it would be interesting to lisen to the mindless views then

  18. FunForTheFuture says:

Nyugh, he’s offended the pigeons now. What’s he going to do if all the pigeons have got it in for him exactly? They follow him home and warble avian oaths outside his windows. When the mighty pigeon hoardes decide to wreak their vengeance, wear a hat for starters.

  19. garysvids says:

I shoot pigeons. To date i have shot many but never enough. They can’t whisle and they can’t take off without squeeking. Why do they squeek? They **** all over everything. Since i and many of my neighbours have been shooting these and keeping them from our gardens the song birds have come back. We should all shoot pigeons. Filthy creatures.
